Prerequisite Overrides

A PREQ error message indicates a course prerequisite was not met.  Prerequisites are established by each department to ensure that a student has an adequate and sufficient background to enroll in the course and achieve success.  Check the course description in the online college catalog to find what course needs to be completed to meet the prerequisite requirement.

If you believe you currently have sufficient knowledge of the course material through work or other experience, you can request a Prerequisite Override from the Academic Dean.  Please click here to access the online form.

You will be contacted with the Academic Dean's decision either by email or telephone within 24-48 hours after your information is submitted.
